Kotobukiya returns to Zone of Enders with the Dolores Plastic Model Kit!
Consisting of 300 pieces molded in pre-colored plastic, Dolores's bright color scheme makes for a great display piece. Features include multiple points of articulation and interchangeable hand parts and weapons allowing for the creation of different posing options (some poses require a display stand). Zone of the Enders, commonly referred to by the acronym Z.O.E., is a franchise created by Hideo Kojima, owned by the video game publisher Konami, and expanded on by the animation studio Sunrise.
The original Zone of the Enders is a game created for the launch of the Sony PlayStation 2, which has so far spawned a single PS2 sequel, a Game Boy Advance side-story, an OVA movie and a twenty-six episode television anime series. Dolores is the AI of the Orbital Frame Isis, similar to Orbital Frame Jehuty's ADA. Unlike ADA however, Dolores has complete control over the Isis frame and can operate it without a Runner. Dolores is also unlike ADA in that she is not cold and calculating (though ADA changes in that respect through Leo Stenbuck's influence), Dolores is child like in attitude, beliefs, and her attachment to James Links, who she considers her Uncle and calls such (she calls him Sir-Uncle in the English dub).
