Leading this brave trek across wild and dangerous country is the Wizard Gandalf, wisest of his order and friend to Elves, Men and Dwarves. At his side is the ring bearer Frodo Baggins, a gentle spirited Hobbit far from the green swathed hills of The Shire.
Though all the Fellowship's members are sworn to protect and guide him in his quest, ultimately the burden of carrying this mighty weapon of the enemy is Frodo's alone to shoulder. In Frodo's service are the keen eyes and strong arms of the Elf prince Legolas of the Woodland Realm, an archer of great renown and integrity. The Elf's hawk-sharp gaze scans the horizon, alert to threat and boon.
